Critic consensus
Reviewers agree
Fun and lively cushioning from dual-density PEBA foam
Controlled, stable ride aided by lateral midsole cut-outs
Tacky, near-full-coverage outsole for reliable traction
Accommodating fit with a true-to-size knitted upper and roomy toe box
Considerations
Less aggressive and snappy carbon plate compared to other Hoka racers
Bulky profile and heavier weight for a racing shoe
Lateral midfoot connection may cause arch pressure at slower paces

A shoe earns a tag as soon as one reviewer recommends it for that kind of run; the count shows how many agree. Mentions include synonyms, so “recovery”, “zone 2” and “conversational” all count toward Easy.
